When I was watching “Celebrity Sex Tape” it took me awhile to convince my wife that I wasn’t watching soft porn. The five main characters are nerdy and they do the jocks homework for cash. The jocks are annoying closet gay meatheads and the more they talk they actually get funnier. The “headjock” gives them an opportunity to go to a party with tons of girls in lieu of paying them three hundred dollars. Good decision by the guys, the amount of girls and nudity they saw at the party, they would easily spend $1,000 in a gentlemen’s club. One of the guys ends up having wild sex with an actress and it’s funny yet disturbing when his little friend Kwan decides to jump on for a free ride.
The premise is set up when one of the guys uploads the sex video and they’re threatened by the actress’s manger to pay them a half million dollars. The guys are scared and don’t know what to do, so the best thing is to brainstorm at a gentlemen’s club. I concur.
With the amount of hits the video got they figure if they make more videos that they’ll make enough money to pay off the manager. All the sex tapes they make are unique, hilarious and they’re done so well that you don’t even notice the nudity…..almost.
Even with tons of sex and comedy the film had a good story and roadblocks the guys had to deal with and at the end everything and everyone comes together.
Speaking of the ending…two words “Emily Addison”. What a climax…in more ways than one. Lastly, Ross ends up giving a speech that fortunately salvages his relationship with Kim (who was worth the wait) and his speech is not an “Independence Day” type or a typical dramatic long boring speech. It’s funny with some aggressive rants.
Finally, it was nice to see a couple actresses from “MILF” reunite with Jack Cullison. There was Jamie Bernadette, who I’d like to see in more Asylum films and Amy Lindsay who was Jack’s lover in “MILF”.
A few things to look for in the film:
- The amazing views that Melony Andrews house has.
- Great job by the talented composer Chris Ridenhour for a few songs sounding close, but not too close to the original.
- Best quote “My pu__y has all the oxygen you need”
- Was the chipmunk costume the same one in “#1 Cheerleader Camp”?
- Kwan (Howard Cai) excitedly cheers on Ross (Jack Cullison) and a girl asks Kwan like a mother if he has to go pee. Simple but cracked me up.
